Bile Beans

'Nightly bile beans keep you healthy, bright-eyed & slim' 

This 'ghost sign', photographed by Katie Stoddard, can still be seen on Lord Mayor's Walk, York.

I used to cycle past this sign each day on my way into college. I'm sure most people in the UK can think of  a similar ghostly sign still apparent in their home town for a product or service no longer in existence. Bath is full of them. Photograph them quickly before they disappear completely!
