1951 Paper Bag

 Initially attracted by the 'Sylko' threads blue livery lying on a charity shop shelf, the box yielded unexpected treasures. First glance revealed a quantity of vintage, mother-of-pearl buttons but look what was hiding beneath them...

One wonders if any of those buttons were brought home in this bag following a shopping trip to the capital? Maybe the shopper had been to see some of the Festival attractions too? One dearly hopes so.
