Ed Ruscha at Wolverhampton Art Gallery

The current Ed Ruscha exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery only has a week left to run so catch it quick - ends this Saturday 29th October 2011.
There are two large gallery rooms devoted to the work - some of which has not been seen in the UK before, including some of his early drawings and photographed art books. You can take a closer look at the books with the aid of an iPad contraption which lets you flick through the pages to your hearts content. It was smashing to have the chance to see this work outside of London.

Apologies for the poor photo, cheekily sneaked (minus the flash) whilst curator had his back turned. Hand slapped accordingly...

Nice way to decorate your walls. I have never done that. My effort to beautify the walls in my house was to order big-sized canvas prints from wahooart.com, from images of western art. I use the same angel motifs in all of the rooms painted by different painters, such as this one by very interesting English artist Stanley Spencer, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8LT7K6.
