Three facts about Angus McBean:
1. Despite the name, McBean was actually Welsh (born in Monmouthshire in 1904).
2. As a young man he worked at Libertys of London where he learnt how to restore antiques.
3. He took the photographs for the cover of the first Beatles album, 'Please, Please Me'.
